I was attending my first New York Photo Festival last month when I saw a wedding party walk past the gallery space to the reception that was being held in the same building. I see myself choosing an interesting venue for my wedding, but I can’t image how much it would cost- especially for this location in DUMBO!
I remember going here during college when it was called Avalon and getting lost in the maze of corridors. What was once originally a church, then a popular nightclub in the 80′s & 90′s has been transformed again into the Limelight Marketplace with boutique shops. It was exciting to see how the inside actually looked like with the additional lighting, as opposed to the dim nightclub atmosphere. I found getting onto the different levels still a little confusing, but it could just be me.

My cousins puppy, Sage, asleep in the family room. After an 8 hour drive and a few minutes upon arrival she playfully bit my finger making it bleed. I forgave her because how can you be mad at something as cute as this?
